Risk-Taking Mission & Service – Day 26

risk-taking-missionReading:
‘I was in prison and you visited me.’ (Matthew 25 v. 36)

Reflection:
‘Risk-taking mission and service involves work that stretches people, causing them to do something for the good of others, that they would never have considered doing if it were not for their relationship with Christ and their relationship with Christ and their desire to serve Him.’

What have you done recently to make a positive difference in the lives of others that you would not have done if it were not for your relationship to Christ?

Prayer:
Help us never to grow weary or discouraged
in seeking to love others as You have loved us,
even when we cannot see the signs of change
we hope for.
AMEN.

Challenge:
Whatever critical issue pulls at your heart that seems insolvable (violence, poverty, abuse, drugs, disease…), lift it up in prayer daily until some small way becomes clear for you about how you can help.
