Intentional Faith Development – Day 17

‘So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!’ (2 Corinthians 5 v. 17)

‘Growth in faith does not come easily or automatically but requires placing ourselves in community to learn the faith with others. John Wesley commended the practices of public and family prayers, the searching of Scriptures, the receiving of Holy Communion and the practice of works of mercy – all in supportive community.’

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control – these are the fruit of the Spirit.
From whom are you learning these?
To whom are you teaching these?

By Your grace, O God,
let every step I take
bring me one step
closer to You.

Thank a teacher of the faith in your church congregation – a class or study leader, a pastor, a youth or children’s volunteer.
