Intentional Faith Development – Day 19

‘Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others’ (Philippians 2 v. 4)

‘Congregations that practice Intentional Faith Development seek to cultivate growth in faith in intentional ways that address unmet needs and invite more people into formative relationships, habits, and practices that help people grow in the knowledge and love of God.’
How is your church doing at offering opportunities for new people to feel welcomed and engaged?

Teach us, Lord, to rely not on the wisdom
of the world or on our own understanding,
but on the truth You have shown us in Christ.
Help us to open the doors of our hearts to You
as we open the doors of Your church to others.

If you are part of a class, study, choir, volunteer team, or support group, talk with your group about inviting new people in.
And then invite someone new yourself!
