Tuesday 1st July WOMEN’S NETWORK QUIET DAY at Midge Hall from 10.00am to 3.00pm. The day will be led by Deacon Sylvie Phillips. Please bring a contribution for a Jacob’s Join Lunch - drinks will be provided by the church.

Saturday 5th July CANCER RESEARCH GARDEN PARTY at 57 Leyland Lane, Leyland. 1.00pm - 5.00pm. Tickets £1.00 or pay on the day. Stalls Galore! Details from posters, Enid Barnes or Margaret Baines.

Saturday 5th July FAMILY NIGHT in the Centre. 5.30 - 8.00pm. Details from posters or Sister Kathy.

Saturday 5th July QUIZ NIGHT AT LEYLAND U.R.C. Hough Lane at 7.30pm. Admittance £1.00. Bring your own refreshments.

NEXT SUNDAY the FAIRTRADE SHOP will be OPEN in the coffee bar after the mornings service.

NEXT SUNDAY 6th July SPECIAL SERVICE - ANNE ECCLES Our friend Anne (or Annie) Eccles is conducting a special service at Lostock Hall Church at 4.00pm as she prepares to begin her ministry in County Durham. Service at 4.00pm followed by a Celebration Tea at 5.00pm.

Wednesday 9th July WOMEN'S GROUP SUMMER OUTING Coach to Ferrari Country House at Longridge. Cookery demonstration followed by a 2 course meal. Choose meal on night £20.00 - all ladies welcome. Leave church 6.30pm.

Saturday 12th July FAMILY WALK WITH A QUIZ Meet at the church at 9.30am and drive to the Yarrow Country Park , Chorley for a ramble around the history trail. Bring a packed lunch and we will have a game or two and a prize giving!!!'

Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th July ST AMBROSE OPEN GARDENS 1.30pm-5.00pm. Tickets £3.00.
