Club Sunday (Sunday School) -
Susan Noon
Club Sunday is for
children and is what some people used to call Sunday School. Its aims
are to tell children about God’s love for them, and to try and bring
them into a personal relationship with Jesus.
What is Club Sunday and what are its Aims?
Club Sunday is for children and is what
some people used to call Sunday School. Its aims are to tell children
about God’s love for them, and to try and bring them into a personal
relationship with Jesus.
How does it work?
All the children go into the normal adult
Church Service on a Sunday morning with their parents, or a responsible
adult, and join in the service. They leave the adult service after about
15 minutes (following the collection) and go into their own different
classes, as follows:

 |
|
Bubbles
(Beginners)
3 to 4 years old approximately |
Splash
(Primary)
5 to 7 years old approximately |
Xstream
(Juniors)
8 to 11 years old approximately |
|

Hot Coals
(Young People)
12 to 16 years old approximately |

After the service their parents or the responsible
adult collects them from their class.
What are the children taught in their classes?
The children are
taught about Jesus and the Bible together with
practical activities based on age-related lessons.
