Please continue to pray for all those known to you in our church family and in your own family and circle of friends who are in need of healing. Pray for those in hospital, those recovering in nursing homes or their own homes. Pray for those awaiting treatment or appointments for a diagnosis, that they may not be anxious about the future. Pray too for those who care for others in their time of need, asking for strength and patience for them. Please pray for all who work in our health services in any way, for their own wellbeing under what can be challenging conditions. Please also remember and pray for all the many areas of the world where health care is difficult to access or may not be affordable to many.
Pray especially for our minister Gill and her family , for their health and wellbeing as Gill carries out her ministry here. Pray that she will find support from within the circuit to ease her responsibilities each week. Pray that as a fellowship here we may be able to support Gill in all she undertakes.
Pray for our local community of Leyland. Pray that as a church we may be a welcoming fellowship to all who attend either on a Sunday or for various activities throughout the week. Pray too that we may find opportunities for outreach to our community . Pray for all the local churches in Leyland of all denominations and for their ministry.
Pray for leaders of all nations throughout the world and for the people they represent. Pray that all areas of conflict and warfare will seek peaceful ways to end hostilities and that peace will return to all places. Pray for all who work towards achieving unity instead of discord. Please pray for our own country in this time of political turmoil and for all who have been elected to our government, and to local government.
Please continue to pray for Christians in all parts of the world who face danger and persecution because of their belief and faith. Pray that they will receive strength and courage from God to face their current situation and that they will keep the hope given to them by God of a better future. Pray that we may never take for granted our privilege to worship freely and openly.
