Please pray for all those known to you in our church family, in your own families and among your friends and neighbours who are suffering in any way at tis time. Please pray for any who have undergone bereavements recently, asking for them to be comforted. Pray for all who are in poor health whether physically or mentally; for those in hospital or awaiting treatment, for those recovering from illnesses and for those dealing with chronic conditions. Please also pray for those who care for others in whatever capacity either as professionals or as a family member or friend.
Please pray for people facing problems or difficult situations of all kinds, that each person will receive the help and advice to assist them.
Please pray for our church here at Leyland and for all the churches in our circuit. Pray for all our local churches in Leyland of all denominations, that together they may provide a strong presence in our town and offer places of friendship and welcome to all.
Please pray for the many groups which meet on our premises each week. Pray for those who lead and facilitate the various meetings, that they will find a blessing on the work they put in to preparing and planning for each session and pray for all who attend that they will feel a welcome and valued member of the groups.
This week please pray especially for the Coffee and Chat group that meet on a Tuesday afternoon and for all who attend . Pray that it will be a time of outreach to our community and also a time for our own members too meet and enjoy time together.
Please also pray for all who work in various ways to enable our premises to remain safe and fit for so many activities throughout the week. Pray for our Property and Finance Committees, for our Centre Manager and cleaning staff in all that they undertake. Pray for those who look after our Safeguarding policies with all the work that entails.
Please continue to pray for our wider world and all its many needs.
Pray for peace to return to all parts of the world still suffering from warfare and violence and for those living in fear daily. Pray for protection for the most vulnerable in all societies and for a deeper understanding and compassion for all those in need.
Pray for our planet and for parts of the world most affected by extreme adverse weather conditions and climate change. Pray for all working towards finding solutions to the many problems caused by these changes.
